Mount Everest is the tallest point on Earth, standing at 8.848m / 29,028ft tall, 5 and 1/2 miles above sea level. Named after Sir George Everest, the British surveyor-general of India, Everest is known in Tibet as Chomolungma and the Nepalese call it Sagarmatha. Mount Everest is located half in Nepal and half in Tibet.

Day 04: Transfer to the airport, fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2640m).
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3446m). Overnight in lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Khumjung (3790m).
Day 07: Stay at Khumjung for acclimatization.
Day 08: Tengboche Monastery (3867m) with its famous Mani Rimdu Festival.
Day 09: Dingboche. Overnight in tented camp.
Day 10: Lobuche (4900m). Overnight in lodge.
Day 11: Rest day in Lobuche. Overnight in lodge.
Day 12: Everest Base Camp.
Day 13 - 57: Climbing Period Mt. Everest.
Day 14: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Day 15: Trek to Pheriche. Overnight in lodge.
Day 16: Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in lodge.
Day 17: Trek to Phakding. Overnight in lodge.
Day 18: Trek to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
Day 19: Fly to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu, free day.
Day 21: Transfer to the airport and departure from Kathmandu.
